The Holy Grail (and Other Difficult to Find Things)
Like that other sock that goes with the one I'm wearing.
Fact: Thousands upon thousands of scripts are created around the globe every year.
Fact: Many of them are unproduced and screaming to be put on stage.
Fact: We can't find a damn one of them.
For the first time since we started looking for new works, we're finding barely a trickle. We've got a couple of internal scripts in the works, but I would love to come across an unproduced piece that begs to take the stage and deliver something interesting and different.
I'm confident in a world of over a billion people that someone has a striking, compelling and appropriate script to take the stage. Now I just need to find it, the Holy Grail and the Easter Bunny.
