What Do You Think?

In a spirit of collaboration (an passing the buck), I'd like to know what suggestions you have for next season's title. While we've got the theme, I'm not sure we've found the right bow to put on it. As I mentioned in the last post, we're exploring communication (or the lack there of) in the modern age as it is impacted by computers.

The current roster of shows is:
Sex&Violets.com--An exploration of the dark corners of our minds and the internet, where the demons lurk.
Love Person--How do we communicate? Can a person change? Why does family make it so tough for us to find true love?
Fatal Error--Is Hell a cubicle strewn world filled with banal 9to5 conversations about the last TV shows and weather?
Ctrl+Alt+Delete--Do you remember the dot com bubble? Well, this story looks at the ins and outs, while wondering what we really want.

So, there is the menu. Now here are a few ideas we've come up with.
.human
.wow!
IFonline
Communication Error

If these or another idea really grabs you, then drop us an email with your pick at info@icarusfalling.com. All submissions will be collected and one lucky participant will win season tickets to ??? our 2006-2007 season.

The Best Laid Plans

Okay, so maybe that's not the best title for post after a season of sex. Then again... Maybe it is...

I guess it could be worse and I could be dyslexic and think that I wrote the best Plaid Lains, which would be some sort of gay frontier novel of a Scottish shepherd, his crook and his plough land. Imagine his heart flutters as he sees the tall, brooding jut jawed sheriff dismount from his foaming horse.

Annie Proulx eat your heart out.

Well, in spite of my mental detour, the premise is that something has gone awry. In this case, the plans for next season. We were exploring a season of desperately liberal to focus on the issues and needs workers and the marginalized, but would you believe that no one writes about them anymore. Okay, some folks do, but...

Well, we took a look at our options and decided to aim for a different mark.

So, next year we're going to explore how we do or don't communicate in this modern age with a season dedicated to computers, the web and where they bring us together. We're still working on a catchy theme for it, but rest assured this will be a season filled with the types of shows our audiences have come to expect.

Be sure to come out to our One Night Stand to hear the announcement for this new, digitized season.
